This week's featured article on Gundog Central is all about 'Hunting Chromatic Snowbirds'. Written by Edgar Castillo in his search of rooster pheasant after a snowfall. You can read Edgar article using this link : https://gundogcentral.com/articles/5900/hunting-chromatic-snowbirds

About Edgar : Edgar Castillo is a recently retired law enforcement officer for a large Kansas City metropolitan agency. He also served in the United States Marine Corps.

Born in Guatemala, hunting was a new concept when Edgar came to the U.S. His passion lies in the uplands as he travels across public lands throughout Kansas or wherever the dirt road takes him…to hunt open fields, walk treelines, & bust through plum thickets in search of wild birds in wild places.

This fervid emotion for the uplands has since blossomed into a SIGNIFICANT social media presence. It has allowed Edgar to share his experiences and connect with other bird hunters through writing.

This has inspired her to create works of art depicting dogs and the wildlife associated with the sport and hunting. You can view more of Leah work on her webstie : https://leahbrigham.com/

We are looking forward to seeing what this litter can do in the fields and trials. Kirk at Cedar Creek has excellent dogs with top notch bloodlines, which has made for a phenomenal breeding. The Top Gun bloodline in Willow produces top of the line hunters and are excited to see what Beau can put in the mix.
Beau is a very athletic dog with long and graceful strides in the field. He has a high head and tail when pointing and running in the field. Beau is natural retriever with a great nose, outstanding temperament, bidable and easy to handle with being quiet and clean in the kennel. He weighs from 55 to 60 pounds. Beau's pedigree speaks for itself being a double bred grandson of NGDC GFC AFC FC Rider High Rudy, who will forsure become a HOF after he passes on.
Willow is too very athletic and graceful in the fields. She works the cover extremely well with a great nose and a natural retrieve. Willow's temperament is as loving as you can get. She takes commands like no other and will hunt all day with the same desire as she had on the first outing. Willow is a very tidy and quiet dog out in the kennel. She weighs 55 to 60 pounds. Her pedigree also speaks for itself with all the Master Hunters and Foundation dogs in it.
These pups will be expected to be a very high caliber bird dogs. These pedigrees combined ensure these pups will be tearing up the fields for the 2025 season.
Please reach out to us if you would like to discuss this breeding or if you have any other questions about WCK.
