After a romp in the 16-degree day, which 9 yr old Jaz loved, it's time to sit down with a new book. Thank you Jeff & Gun Dog Chat.

Someone asked me this weekend "what got you started in field trialing"? Well, I got this puppy as a hunting dog and started doing a few hunt tests at 6 months old. Hunt tests went well, and we hunted in the fall. The following March the VCA NGDC was being held in N. CA. A buddy of mine asked if I wanted to go, YES. I entered Jaz in the puppy stake and to my surprise she took second place, we even took home a good bunch of cash from the puppy calcutta, (don't ever let somebody else win your dog in a calcutta). It was all craziness from there for the next 6 yrs. FC CK Bull's Little Jazmin Rose.
