Great way to end the '23/'24 season. Spent the last few days of January putting some miles on behind the girls and blessed to have them all healthy. With CeCe the pup finishing up her first season to Elli who finished her 13th season. All dogs had multiple contacts and was able to connect each day over each dog, could not have gone any better.

@gundogcentral as you know, seasons like this are not the norm! Hopefully we all have a mild late winter and the spring is favorable for nesting.

@birdogn Super jealous!! Sounds like you had a great season!
Six “Military” Style Methods to Outsmart Late Season Roosters by Edgar Castillo is the Gundog Central featured article this week. You can read up on Edgar tactics using this link : https://gundogcentral.com/articles/5405/six-military-style-methods-to-outsmart-late-season-roosters
About Edgar E. Castillo : Edgar is a recently retired law enforcement officer for a large Kansas City metropolitan agency. He also served in the United States Marine Corps.
Born in Guatemala, hunting was a new concept when Edgar came to the U.S. His passion lies in the uplands as he travels across public lands throughout Kansas or wherever the dirt road takes him…to hunt open fields, walk treelines, & bust through plum thickets in search of wild birds in wild places.
This fervid emotion for the uplands has since blossomed into a SIGNIFICANT social media presence. It has allowed Edgar to share his experiences and connect with other bird hunters through writing.
