This weeks featured article on Gundog Central is about "Upland" Chaps, written by Edgar Castillo. You can read Edgar's new article here : https://gundogcentral.com/articles/5338/upland-chaps
About Edgar : Edgar Castillo is a recently retired law enforcement officer for a large Kansas City metropolitan agency. He also served in the United States Marine Corps.
Born in Guatemala, hunting was a new concept when Edgar came to the U.S. His passion lies in the uplands as he travels across public lands throughout Kansas or wherever the dirt road takes him…to hunt open fields, walk treelines, & bust through plum thickets in search of wild birds in wild places.
This fervid emotion for the uplands has since blossomed into a SIGNIFICANT social media presence. It has allowed Edgar to share his experiences and connect with other bird hunters through writing.

Gearing up for an Illinois trip to see an old buddy and chase some pheasants?
Anyone ever bird hunted in that state?
Looking forward to the windshield time and catching up with old friends, lucky to cross another state off the list.

That's just north of me, been looking at places to go but haven't committed to anything yet.
Something a little different this week. How do you charge? This is my setup, built on to the back of my workbench.

I was going to put the collar blocks on the peg board with screws but this saves space for more stuff on the pegboard.
very nice setup!
@gundogcentral I looked and never found anything that was a neat as this. I routed the cables and ran a power strip on top of the of the pegboard area.
Very organized! I'm surprised nobody has come out with a nice charging station to charge all our collars and transmitters, without the rats nest of cables.
McGoo’s Elhew Kia pointing a brace of Ky grouse!
The one I still judge all bird dogs by. She showed me just how good a grouse dog could be.
