It’s the final week of the Gun Dog Chat Gun Dog Book weekly book giveaway. Thank you to everyone who participated. Somehow I made it to the final week with ten books still remaining. I have three copies of “Bird Dogs and Field Trials” by Jack Harper and seven copies of “Home of Champions” by David Grubb. This final week, I’m giving them all away. There will be three winners this week who will receive both books with one lucky, randomly selected member receiving a very special book mark, in the form of a $100 gift card to Gun Dog Supply. Should make for a pretty nice Christmas present for yourself.
You can enter this contest at no cost, you simple have to create a post on Gun Dog Chat.
As a reward to anyone who previously posted during the past 12 weeks will have their chances of winning doubled!! Also, the four remaining “Home of Champion” books will go to randomly selected members who have posted at any point during this contest.

About Leah Brigham
After graduating from Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Science in Art Education, Leah began teaching Art to inner city Middle School students in Houston and later Dallas, TX. Leah was introduced to American Field Horseback Field Trails and has been able to experience the excitement of seeing her own dog, competing for the National Championship at Ames Plantation in Grand Junction, TN ...standing on point, head and tail held high. This has inspired her to create works of art depicting dogs and the wildlife associated with the sport and hunting.

A fun time in Illinois getting some good dog work and shooting in.

@gundogcentral we had a good amount of flushes, probably 50 total, 20 in gun "range", 7 roosters.
Shooting skills were lacking so no birds in the bag.
Had the fortune of hunting with someone who'd drawn the permit for Sibley!

@tf30 Curious how you did on pheasant. Looks like you got some water fowling in too.
