I’m officially taking orders for 2024 CALENDARS and I’m delighted to announce that I will be offering TWO versions this year…

The first will be similar to last year, with an assortment of my art including birds, trout, dogs, wildlife, horse (cover) ect.

The second will feature ALL sporting dogs - Pointers, Shorthairs, Boykins, Brittanys, Labs, Vizslas, and of course Setters!

I’m also ecstatic to be using a new vendor, so the artwork will printed on 130# signature paper - one of the thickest weights available. This ensures a high quality, durable product with a luxurious feel and soft texture finish. It is an acid free, archival and Forest Stewardship Council certified paper. (The distinction is obvious - I polled 10 individuals and 100% chose this sample out of the ones I presented to them)

The best news is that while the quality has gone up, the price has not! In fact, someone just purchased 10 of them 🤗

With daylights saving time now in effect, it feels like we have a lot more time to spend trapped in the house. As today dragged on, we used our extra hour to do an adhoc mini Thanksgiving dinner to two. We made this deep fried, Cajun injected split pheasant, homemade sage stuffing, cranberries relish with orange zest and some smoked maple bourbon sweet potatoes with bacon. Tami Lynn Davis

About Edgar. Edgar Castillo is a recently retired law enforcement officer for a large Kansas City metropolitan agency. He also served in the United States Marine Corps.

Born in Guatemala, hunting was a new concept when Edgar came to the U.S. His passion lies in the uplands as he travels across public lands throughout Kansas or wherever the dirt road takes him…to hunt open fields, walk treelines, & bust through plum thickets in search of wild birds in wild places.

This fervid emotion for the uplands has since blossomed into a SIGNIFICANT social media presence. It has allowed Edgar to share his experiences and connect with other bird hunters through writing.
